Our story
A1 Travels (ABN 63 617 339 572) has spent 20 years in the Australia to India travel corridor, the busiest and most personal route in Australian aviation: families flying home for Diwali, grandparents meeting grandchildren, weddings planned across two continents. Those trips are too important for a booking site's luck-of-the-draw service, and too price-sensitive for full retail fares. We built our agency to fix both at once.
Today we book full-service flights worldwide, from every Australian city, in every cabin, alongside hotels, corporate accounts and the destination guides on this site. India remains the speciality; the standard of care it taught us, where every booking is somebody's family occasion, applies everywhere we book, from a Bali honeymoon to a London business trip.
What twenty years taught us about this industry
The travel industry keeps rediscovering ways to remove humans from bookings, and travellers keep rediscovering why that fails them at the worst moments.
