Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site earn us a commission. Here is exactly how that works, in plain English.

The short version
When you book a hotel, tour, ticket or other travel extra through certain links and search widgets on this site, the partner pays A1 Travels a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as going to their site directly. Those commissions help keep our airfare quotes free and our advice independent.
Who our partners are
- Agoda (part of Booking Holdings) for hotel bookings. Agoda is our primary accommodation partner and powers the hotel links and search boxes across our hotels pages, destination guides and the VIP Hub. We chose it because its coverage across India, South East Asia and the Gulf, which is where most of our travellers go, is deeper than the alternatives, and because it prices in Australian dollars.
- Hotels.com (part of Expedia Group) for hotel bookings, as a secondary partner. It appears as a "compare prices" option on the VIP Hub so you can check the same dates on a second platform. We may earn a commission on bookings made through either hotel partner.
- Viator (a Tripadvisor company) for tours and experiences, used across our things to do pages.
- Klook for attraction tickets, rail passes, transfers and eSIMs, including the promo codes on our deals pages.
- We may add partners (for example travel insurance or eSIM providers) over time, and this page will always list them. If we change hotel partners, this page changes with it.
Affiliate links on this site open the partner's website and are marked for search engines with the sponsored attribute, in line with Google's guidelines.
What it does not change
- Prices. Partner links carry a referral tag, not a markup. You pay the partner's normal price.
- Our recommendations. Hotels and experiences appear on our lists because they earn their place, not because of commission rates. When something on a list stops being good, it comes off.
- Flights. Our core service, flight booking, is not an affiliate arrangement at all. We are your travel agent, we quote you directly, and we are accountable to you for the booking.
Bookings with partners
A booking you make on a partner's site is between you and that partner under their terms and their customer service. We chose these partners because they are established platforms that resolve problems properly; if one ever lets you down after coming from our site, tell us at [email protected], because who we link to is a decision we keep re-earning.
